POSITION OVERVIEW

 

This position will be hired by the Elder Board, report to our Senior Pastor, and work closely with our existing artists and musicians in the church. The Worship Director is a leadership role on our worship team and will be the architect of the culture and team moving forward.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

• A testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and growing personal relationship with Him.

• Commitment to moral purity and relational integrity.

• Commitment to the mission, vision, values, and doctrine of IHBC.

• Experience in leading worship, and skilled as a contemporary musician, able to work with traditional artists to create blended worship services.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

• Build and grow upon our team of artists and musicians.

• Develop a worship culture at IHBC in Spirit and truth. (John 4:23-24)

• Lead Sunday morning worship, approximately 40 weeks per year.

• Approximately 12 hours per week is expected to achieve the desired results. Facilitate planning meetings, rehearsal, and Sunday morning worship.

• Lead special worship services as needed. (Easter week, Christmas week, and occasional evenings of worship)

 

COMPENSATION

 

            $350 week, based on skills, experience, and agreed to roles and responsibilities.
